Catterick Racecourse’s 2025 Flat season continues in style on Saturday 24 May with one of its most popular fixtures – the Catterick Beer Festival Raceday, held in association with Pennine Brewing Company.
Now in its seventh year, the event marks a firm favourite on Catterick’s racing calendar. Local independent brewery Pennine Brewing Co., based in Well, will once again be offering racegoers the chance to sample ten different ales and ciders throughout the afternoon.
The action kicks off at 1.40pm with the Pennine Brewing Company Maiden Stakes, while the final race of the seven-race card is scheduled for 5.15pm. After racing, the festivities continue with live music from The Black Marcs, and the course will remain open until 6.30pm, giving attendees even more time to enjoy the beer festival atmosphere.
Pennine Brewing Company’s Debbie Clayton commented:
“All of us at Pennine Brewery are thrilled to be part of the seventh Catterick Beer Festival! It’s a highlight on our calendar every year, and we’re just as excited this time around. We’ll be bringing along a fantastic range of our award-winning brews for racegoers to enjoy, and we can’t wait to raise a glass with you to celebrate great beer and racing!”
Alongside the on-track action and live entertainment, there will be free children’s activities in the Course Enclosure, including a Bungee Run, Rock n Roller challenge, bouncy castle, and soft play area to keep young racing fans entertained.
Emma Stevenson, General Commercial Manager at Catterick Racecourse, said:
“We’re thrilled to be continuing our partnership with Pennine Brewing Company. The Beer Festival Raceday is always a highlight – a great day out for everyone, with racing, live music, craft ales, and plenty of family-friendly entertainment.”
Gates open at 11.30am, and a free shuttle bus service will run from Richmond Market Place approximately an hour before the first race.
