At Catterick Racecourse, we are committed to providing all customers with the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful experience with each visit. Our racecourse office team can be reached on 01748 811478 and are available to answer any questions you may have in advance about your raceday.

Additionally, should you require a personal assistant or carer in order to visit the racecourse, you are entitled to apply for one complimentary admission ticket for a nominated individual.

Access Card Scheme

We have recently partnered with Nimbus Disability, operators of the Access Card scheme, making it possible for those requiring essential companion admission to book easily in advance.

Designed to streamline the process of communicating your access needs, the Access Card translates your disability or impairment into easy-to-understand symbols, effectively highlighting the barriers you face and serves as recognised proof of your requirements.

There are over 3 million Access card holders across the UK, and over 2,500 venues and service providers recognise and use the Access Card system.

If you are new to Access Card and you would like to apply for one purely for use at Catterick Racecourse, then this is a FREE service.

Register for your FREE Catterick Racecourse Digital Access Pass, providing details of your access requirements. 

If you would prefer a physical Access Card that will be recognised by all of the registered venues across the country, then the cost is just £15.00 for 3 years.

The physical card acts as a photo ID and in addition to translating your needs into symbols, the Access Card serves as recognised proof of your requirements, eliminating the need for repeated explanations at different venues.

How to book your complimentary companion ticket

Step 1 - Register for your FREE Catterick Racecourse Digital Access Pass, providing details of your access requirements. If you are unable to apply online, you can call Access on 0330 808 5108 for assistance. 

Step 2 - Once you have received your Access Card, simply book your tickets online and add a complimentary Personal Assistant ticket to your order. You'll be asked to verify your Access Card details before completing your booking.

Prefer to book by phone?

Call us on 01748 811478 when booking your tickets in advance and have your Access Card ID ready. We'll add your complimentary Personal Assistant ticket to your booking.

Already booked?

If you've already purchased your ticket and need to add a complimentary Personal Assistant ticket, simply call us on 01748 811478 or email info@catterickbridge.co.uk with your order number and Access Card ID, and we'll add it to your booking.

On the day

If you don't wish to book in advance, simply bring your Access Card (or Digital Access Card email confirmation) with you and present it at the entrance on arrival to receive complimentary admission for your Personal Assistant.

Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure

The majority of outside areas are tarmacked, and there is a raised viewing platform just past the finishing post and by the Parade Ring/Winner's Enclosure. The main restaurant, self-service cafeteria, Gods Solution Bar, Paddock Bar and Tote Bars are all have level access. Access to the first floor Champions Bar and Hospitality suites is via a lift found in the Gods Solution Bar.

Accessible toilets are found in the Winning Streak Restaurant, Horseshoe Café Bar and Gods Solution Bar.

Course Enclosure

Much of this enclosure is on grass although there is a tarmacked area outside the Course Enclosure Bar and Café, and level access is provided to it. Accessible toilet facilities are available within this enclosure.

Parking

Accessible parking is provided immediately adjacent to the south entrance for those using the Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure, and in the centre of the race track for those wishing to use the Course Enclosure.

Note: The racecourse does not provide ambulatory aids and parking is subject to availability.
